Install any version of Windows 7 from the same DVD

With the official release of Windows 7 DVD , you can install any version of Windows whether it be Starter or Pro or Ultimate with the same DVD.


Tools Needed.

1.DoISO - Download here or any other ISO creating  utility.
2.7-zip  Dwonload here.
3.Windows 7 DVD (Please read note below)

What to do ?

1. Open the Win 7 DVD on your computer and copy all the files to your harddisk.
2. Browse to the /sources folder
3. Locate ei.cfg 
4. Delete it.
5. Create an ISO of the folder using DoISO.
6. Now Burn the ISO to a DVD and boot from it.
7. Viola , It asks for the Win 7 edition to install

Now install the version of Windows you want , you need respective product keys for installation .
So Win 7 Pro key will not work with Win 7 Ultimate
