Covert Video and Audio files using VLC media player

The open source VLC media player, has  a great lot of features, it will play any video file no matter what the codec is!

But you did not know that it can stream media or that it can actually covert media files?

How to Convert videos using VLC media player?

If you do not have VLC media player yet, download it here.
Install it.
Now open VLC media Player.

  In the Media menu , click Covert / Save(Ctrl + R).

Now click there Add files, add only ONE file.
Now click Convert / Save.

There u can use any of the pre-given profiles or create a new Profile.

P.S:-Conversion using VLC will BE SLOW, it is suitable to small files, it will proceed along in play speed, meaning that if you are converting 1 hr movie then it will take one hour to convert.
